Yes. Monthly plans cancel at the end of the current billing period. Annual plans can be cancelled at renewal — we don't pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of an annual term, but you keep access until the term ends.

Your work stays. If you downgrade from Pro to Reno, your second active project becomes read-only — you can still view, export and complete it, you just can't add new tasks until you free up a slot or upgrade again.

SE Assessment is two separate products. Initial consultation (£100, all tiers) is a non-calculation opinion — useful when you're worried about a crack, sagging timber, or whether something needs an engineer at all. The engineer reviews your photos and gives a professional opinion, no drawings or calcs. Desktop SE study (£225–£300) is calculation-based work for proposed alterations: photos plus drawings in, written assessment with sizing back. Study price drops by tier — Free pays £300 (UK market rate for a single beam), Reno £275, Pro £250, Elite £225. The Elite saving (£75) is more than one month of Elite, so the subscription pays for itself the first time you commission a study, with £5 left over.

Free is the trial — you get 3 briefs, the sample project, and pay-per-job access to SE Assessment without a card on file. When you're ready, upgrade and only pay for the months you actively use.
